Holding an Expert Session? Hear from Apps for Good educators on what to think about

We know that Expert sessions can really enrich students’ learning experience. We also know that holding Expert sessions can be a little outside the classroom norm, so we’ve been developing new resources to help Apps for Good Educators plan and deliver a successful Expert session.

Our new Expert Session webinar features three of our Ninja Educators – Stuart Keen, Dr Challoner’s Grammar School, Simon Reid, Stratford Girls’ Grammar School, and Ivan Langton, Budehaven Community School  – who talk about their experiences hosting Expert sessions and offer some great tips.

You can find other great resources on our Educator dashboard. Unsure about when to schedule an Expert session, or how to book and run a session? Our updated Expert FAQ document has the answers to these and other common Educator questions. If you’re unsure about how to incorporate an Expert Session into a class then our new sample lesson plan will help you map this out.

For those of you who are holding remote sessions by videoconference but are worried about using Skype, our new ‘Videoconferencing Options’ document is your go to resource.

Want to talk to us directly about Expert sessions? Get in touch by emailing education@appsforgood.org. Or why not consult other Apps for Good educators by posting questions on our Educator Forum.
