‘The school has gained a lot more confidence in technology’: Hear from Apps for Good Educator Emma Darcy

Recently we sat down with Apps for Good Ninja Educator Emma Darcy, Director of Technology for Learning at Denbigh High School in Luton, to discuss her experiences of delivering the course.

When we speak with our Education Partners, we find that each school has unique experiences of how the course impacts their students, teachers and school as a whole. Emma points out that the course has helped the entire school gain confidence in using technology, leading to teachers using ‘ICT more effectively across the curriculum’. We especially loved hearing from Emma about the positive effect the course has had on a number of disengaged students at Denbigh High, whose attendance, motivation and focus have all gone up as a result of taking Apps for Good. You can watch the full video below to hear more from Emma.
