At the Apps For Good Awards, we won the People’s Choice prize for our app. Since they we’ve been delighted by the amount of national recognition our app has got and surprised by the number of opportunities that have opened up for us.

We are now working with our app designers Gourmet Pixel and we communicate via Skype and Basecamp (a project management tool) like pros! We’ve created a mood board to help the designers understand the look and feel that we’d like and they have already created our new logo for us.

A few weeks ago we were honoured to be the only winning team from this year’s competition to be invited to London to speak with a number of Apps For Good corporate partners. This was held at the home of Apps For Good Chair Charlie Leadbeater and we presented our app to companies who help make sure that Apps For Good is made available free of charge to schools.

We presented the pitch that we had made to the dragons at the Apps For Good Awards and we took questions from the audience which included senior staff from Essence, Barclaycard, Thomson Reuters, Samsung, and TalkTalk. We were also treated to a very nice meal and had a great time.

Now we’re back hard at work getting our app ready to be launched on the market in early 2016.
