We’re looking for stories about how Apps for Good made a difference to your life. If you’d like to make a film or a blog that would inspire other students we’d love to hear from you.
Did Apps for Good alter your view of technology? Were you a finalist who was inspired by the Awards? Are studying a tech or business related subject because of Apps for Good? Or you could have your own special story.
- Boost your skills – You’ll learn real world skills like filming, working in a team, storytelling and working to a brief.
- Become internet famous – Your blog or film will be promoted on the Apps for Good site to thousands of students around the country
- Add some bang to your personal statement – You’ll have something pretty special to put on applications for jobs, colleges and universities.

If you’re ready to get going here’s some questions you might like to answer in your video or blog: What did you like best on the Apps for Good Course, What did you find the most difficult? What excites you? What do you want for your future? Did Apps for Good affect your plans in any way? And what advice would you give to somebody on the Apps for Good course now.
Film tips – Videos should be no more that 4 minutes long. Make sure you hold the camera horizontal so you film landscape, not portrait. Make sure the sound is clear and there’s no background noise.
Blog tips – 300-700 words is about right. Don’t over think it, share your feelings (whether they were good or bad, excited or frustrated). Read other Fellows blogs to get some ideas.
