Our annual awards hosted in London at the end of every academic year have become synonymous with the Apps for Good course and give students an exciting end goal in the form of competition with other schools. It’s a great way to celebrate the success of all our students’ hard work.
However, we get hundreds of applications to the awards every year and the quality of the work makes it very difficult to decide who we shortlist and bring to London for the event.
We want to celebrate the hard work Apps for Good students put into their projects as often and as widely as possible.
Next month, supported by BNY Mellon volunteers, we will be hosting two regional events, one in Edinburgh and one in Manchester. Students from all over Scotland and the North West of England will be gathering together to showcase their brilliant digital products – apps, internet of things devices and machine learning models – that solve a problem that matters to them or their community. The winning team from each event will win a fast-track place at the Apps for Good National Awards Final in London in June 2020.
If you are in the tech or education sphere, we’d love to invite you to join us for some lunch and the opportunity to be inspired by the next generation of digital innovators.
